⚙️Taras Maksimuk, renowned for pushing tech devices to their limits on his YouTube channel TechRax, is no stranger to extreme tests. Whether it's subjecting iPhones to lava or shooting Samsung Galaxy smartphones, Maksimuk's content is both shocking and captivating. Naturally, when he acquired a Cybertruck, followers anticipated some intense trials.
🛞Although Maksimuk hasn't uploaded extensive content featuring his Cybertruck, he did conduct a steel ball test to assess its durability—an evaluation famously associated with the vehicle's 2019 prototype. As depicted in TechRax's video, the production Cybertruck's windows demonstrated resilience against the steel ball impact.
Swedish Labor Conflict Turns Focus to Tesla Superchargers
🔊The ongoing Swedish labor conflict has escalated with Tesla Superchargers becoming the latest target. The union responsible for servicing, planning, constructing, and connecting EV chargers has declared that it will cease acknowledging Tesla's needs starting March 4.
Seko, the Swedish Union for Service and Communications Employees, has announced an act of solidarity with other unions currently in dispute with Tesla over a collective bargaining agreement.
Effective March 4, Seko will no longer provide servicing, construction, planning, or any other support to maintain Tesla Superchargers in the country.
"The stance taken by IF Metall is crucial for the integrity of the Swedish collective agreement model," remarked Seko President Gabriella Lavecchia in a statement to Reuters.
Similar actions have been undertaken by other unions in the area, signaling a growing collective effort to compel Tesla to sign a collective bargaining agreement covering 90 percent of all employees in Sweden.

Tesla's conflict with these groups has extended to unions involved in waste collection, mail services, and port operations, including transportation and delivery of Tesla vehicles. Fortunately, some of the strikes have eased in intensity.
While numerous unions have taken solidarity actions against Tesla, impacting the company's business and operations, this particular move will directly inconvenience customers in the area.
⚡️Superchargers serve as the quickest method for EV drivers to extend their range, essential for road trips, work commutes, and other travel purposes. While home charging remains an alternative, it may not be optimal for every EV owner. Delays or neglect in maintaining Tesla Superchargers or advancing infrastructure projects pose a significant drawback.
🇸🇪Sweden stands out as one of the countries where Tesla permits non-Tesla EVs to utilize Superchargers, further affecting electric vehicle owners from other manufacturers.
Elon Musk nominated for Nobel Peace Prize?
💭Recent reports indicate that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a Norwegian lawmaker. The lawmaker cited Musk's advocacy for free speech and highlighted Starlink's role in assisting Ukraine during its conflict with Russia as reasons for the nomination.
🏆 Marius Nielsen, a member of Norway's Progress Party and part of the Energy and Environment Committee according to Norway's national assembly website, reportedly submitted Musk's nomination. A shortlist of nominees is anticipated by the end of March, with the Norwegian Nobel Committee expected to announce their majority vote in October. The award ceremony is scheduled for the end of the year.

Nielsen emphasized Musk's founding, ownership, or leadership roles in numerous tech companies aimed at societal improvement, expanding knowledge of Earth and space, and enhancing global communication and connectivity. This, Nielsen stated, has contributed to making the world more connected and secure.
As reported by The Daily Mail, which initially covered Musk's alleged nomination, Nielsen argued that Musk's contributions to free speech through X, formerly known as Twitter, have facilitated global dialogue, idea exchange, learning, and mutual understanding, which are valuable for global prosperity and peace.
Nielsen reportedly emphasized the importance of engaging in dialogue with critical thinkers and opposing views to foster human evolution and collaboration. He noted that echo chambers and uncritical agreement hinder progress, while diverse opinions and critical thinking unlock the best ideas.
Additionally, Musk's support through Starlink for Ukraine's resistance against Russia has received commendation. Ukrainian officials have praised the satellite internet system for enabling communication among their troops despite Russian attempts to restrict Ukraine's access to the internet.
🔜 While Musk's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize is likely to spark debate due to his polarizing nature, it's worth noting that he is not the first controversial nominee from Norway's Progress Party. In 2020, Progress Party lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde nominated former US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing his role in brokering the Abraham Accords. However, the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the World Food Programme.
